It is proposed that the research be carried out in one Wet Tropics catchment (most likely the Tully or Johnstone, so as to align with the Wet Tropics MIP) and one dry tropics catchment (Cape, Upper Burdekin, or Bowen to align with the Burdekin Dry Tropics MIP). The choice of sites will be based on alignment with work priorities of the Regional NRM partners to support and engage with this process, including their ability to provide site specific data regarding previous erosion-control investment sites.
Markers are not an exact position of where the research is taking place, they are only to be used as a guide to the general area in which it is being carried out.
