Now in its fourth year, the Tropical Water Quality (TWQ) Hub is at a critical stage for the synthesis and delivery of its world-class innovative research into practical solutions for catchment-to-reef water quality issues. The leaders of many of the TWQ Hub’s research projects will meet this week in Townsville to renew their commitment to delivering useful outcomes for stakeholders. At a synthesis workshop in March, TWQ Hub’s Steering Committee recommended that the synthesis of the Hub’s research output be guided by stakeholder needs, and that federal and State government agency frameworks guide the planning and production of synthesis products. This will help maximize opportunity for uptake and adoption by stakeholders and demonstrate impact in areas already considered priorities by government agencies.
